Common Misconceptions About Laser Vision Correction

The minimum age to get laser vision correction done is 18yrs, preferably 21 yrs. This is to ensure that the growth of the eyeball is complete and refraction is stable. Younger than 18 yrs, Laser Vision correction can be done with the understanding that if the eyeball grows further and number increases, a re-enhancement maybe needed.

Laser vision correction is a simple, day-care, surface laser procedure. It does not require an overnight hospital stay and can be done without an injection and eye patch. Feature on the occasion of International Women’s Day

On 8th March 2020, Medilaser participated to support and encourage all the women who participated at the Women’s day bike rally at S.P College. We also performed laser procedures at discounted rate for women all through March.

On 23rd Feb 2020, Dr. Ridhima Bhagali was invited to speak on basics of LASIK, SMILE and ICL at a conference of ophthalmologists at Ahmednagar. It was very well attended and received.

Between 5th -9th Feb 2020, we participated at the hugely popular Sinhagad Karandak and had a stall to impart awareness and pamphlets about eye health and laser procedures.

Dr. Ridhima Bhagali shared valuable eye tips on general eye health, cataract, laser refractive procedures, glaucoma on 101 FM all though Jan and Feb. Catch it here in case you missed it then! Dr. Ridhima Bhagali was invited to give talks on refractive and cataract surgery at Karad, Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur on 7th & 8th September 2019 by Maharashtra Ophthalmological society. The CMEs witnessed interactive discussions and participation of many local ophthalmologists.
